This was really hard to do because Wuthering Heights is such a complicated book. These songs might not be perfect but I thought they fit.
Wuthering Heights by Hayley Westerna. Ok, I know this one doesn't really count but I had to include it here. The whole song is about Cathy and Heathcliff. It is a song about when Cathy's ghost appears at the window and begs to be let in the house. In the song she is asking for Heathcliff to let her in even though in the book she asks Mr. Lockewood. You kind of have to let the song grow on you but you should listen to it any way.
Stranger by Hilary Duff. This song kind of describes the way Isabella feels about Heathcliff. After Isabella and Heathcliff elope, she discovers that he is horrible and cruel. She is convinced that he is either a devil or crazy and escapes from Wuthering Heights and never goes back.
Not One of Us from The Lion King 2. This song describes Heathcliff when he first came to Wuthering Heights. Mr. Earnshaw found him in the streets of Liverpool. He brought Heathcliff home to live with him and no one accepts him at first. Everyone except Mr. Earnshaw called him a "gypsy boy" and thought he was beneith everyone else.
Material Girl by Madonna. This song can be used to describe when Catherine tells Nelly how she is marrying Edgar for status and his money. She doesn't marry Heathcliff because she said it would degrade her. She was very selfish and shallow when she did this so the song fits this scene in the book perfectly.
Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. This song can be used for the time after Catherine's death. After she died the whole house is enveloped in a cloud of saddness. Edgar is very depressed and mourns her for years afterward. Heathcliff ,however, is in total agony and he actually cries over her death.
